Objective: The main objective of the course is to prepare students conceptually for the departmental courses. Students meet faculty of the department and their research projects are discussed. Students also express their own topic of interest, so that a match is sought for between faculty research topics and students’ personal interest. Undergraduate teams are formed at the end of the term.
